Graham Howie is an illustrator and writer of children’s fiction. He graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Visual Communication. Prior to becoming an illustrator and writer, he worked in the film and television industry. He has created characters for, written for and illustrated for the British children’s comic books, the Beano and the Dandy.
Graham takes inspiration from the natural world and the perspective on life from children. He is originally from Musselburgh, a fishing town near Edinburgh. He lives in London with his wife and daughter. When he isn’t writing or illustrating, he and his family like to go on painting trips.
“When I first took the plunge into self-employment, Isabel was there to guide me, inspire me and help me get my work published. I’ve worked on over 15 books and none of them would have been possible without her.”
