Bethany Straker is an illustrator and author of picture books and magazines. Her work often leans towards the humorous, and has been described as “somewhere between the stylings of a Steve Fiorilla and a Mike Judge series” (filmmonthly.com). She enjoys the little visual details that others may not notice, loves drawing the grotesque and champions the underdog.
I’ve been a client of Isy’s since lockdown 2020, and I’ve found her to be incredibly approachable and supportive. In the course of two years, she’s negotiated seven book deals for me, and I know that she’s on my side when it comes to negotiations.
