Laura Matine is an illustrator based in Cambridge. Since graduating from Cambridge School of Art Laura has illustrated both historical and children’s books; including Keith Souter’s MEDICAL MEDDLERS, MEDIUMS AND MAGICIANS: THE VICTORIAN AGE OF CREDULITY and her latest title Kate Louise’s THE UPSIDE-DOWN FISH which is out now.
When not illustrating, Laura works with Special Needs Children with emotional and behavioural challenges often helping them to engage by expressing themselves through art.
Laura has a passion for children’s books, THE UPSIDE-DOWN FISH, a lovely story about a fish learning it’s okay to be a little bit different is her first picture book.
